How do I book a villa?

Choose your villa, select your dates in the availability calendar and send your booking request. Once it is confirmed, you pay a 10% deposit online by card to secure your stay.

How much is the deposit and how do I pay the balance?

You pay 10% of the total rental price online by card (Visa or Mastercard, via Stripe) when you book. The remaining 90% is paid in cash on arrival at the villa.

What is the cancellation policy?

If you cancel up to 15 days before check-in, your booking deposit is refunded in full. After that date the deposit is no longer refundable.

Is there a minimum stay?

Yes, our villas are rented for a minimum of 5 days.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out is by 10:00. Times can vary slightly from one villa to another: see the details on each listing.

Is there a security deposit?

A refundable damage deposit of €200 is paid on arrival and returned at check-out if there is no damage to the property.

Where are the villas?

All our villas are in the municipality of Lourinhã, on Portugal's Silver Coast (Costa de Prata): in Porto Dinheiro, Ribamar, Atalaia, Santa Bárbara, Ventosa and Montoito, close to the beaches of Porto Dinheiro, Peralta, Areia Branca and Vale dos Frades.

How far is Lisbon Airport?

Lisbon Airport is about 45 to 50 minutes away by car. A paid airport transfer can be arranged on request, with advance notice.

How many guests can stay in a villa?

Our villas sleep 6 to 12 guests. For groups, see our large villas for 10 to 12 guests.

Which villas have a jacuzzi or a heated pool?

Many of our villas have a private jacuzzi and Villa Beach & Friends has a heated outdoor pool: see our villas with jacuzzi or heated pool.

Which villas are closest to the beach?

Several villas in Porto Dinheiro and Ribamar are about 100 m from the beach, and others have panoramic sea views: see our sea-view villas near the beach.

Are bed linen and towels provided?

Yes, bed linen, bath towels and pool towels are provided. Each listing details the equipment of the villa (Wi-Fi, parking, kitchen, games room, etc.).

Are pets, smoking or parties allowed?

Smoking and parties or events are not allowed in our villas. Pets are not accepted under our general terms: please contact us before booking if you would like to travel with a pet.

What is there to do nearby?

Beaches and surfing on the Silver Coast, the Dino Parque in Lourinhã, and day trips to Peniche, Baleal, Óbidos, Nazaré, Sintra or Lisbon. We give every guest a free tourist guide with our local recommendations, and our travel blog has more ideas.
